About Us

Our Story

Ladies Hacking Society (LHS) is the UK based not-for-profit group that prioritises the technical progression of women in cyber security, or women who wish to enter the cyber security industry.

We were first established in 2017 by Eliza-May Austin, who formed the London chapter with Lynda Barber, Stephen Ridgway, Helen Major and Kate Brett-Goldman, and now Annabel Berry. Fast forward to 2022 and we have 4 chapters across the UK and a range of talented volunteers happy to dedicate their time to help women in the cyber security industry.

All women are welcome to LHS events, regardless of skill level or experience. Men are also welcome, LHS is women-centric, not women exclusive.

Come join us for practical training, social networking or just to relax with a drink and soak up the atmosphere.
